# Create Hidden Wallet with Passphrase

### Before You Start

Please make sure you understand the following:

* [Passphrases](https://help.tokenpocket.pro/en/blockchain-basics/passphrase#why-use-a-passphrase) are **case-sensitive**, and spaces and special characters matter.
* Changing your Passphrase creates a completely different wallet address.
* Back up both your Recovery Phrase and Passphrase offline, and never share them with anyone.

### Create a Hidden Wallet

#### Step 1

Tap **+** to create a new wallet and select the blockchain you want to use.

### Import a Hidden Wallet

Importing a hidden wallet is similar to importing a regular wallet, with one additional step.

Enter your **Recovery Phrase**, then tap **Advanced Mode** and enter the **same Passphrase** used when the wallet was created.

If the Recovery Phrase and Passphrase are both correct, the imported wallet address will match your original wallet.

> **Note:** An incorrect Passphrase will generate a different wallet address.
