# How to Create and Import an Arc Wallet in TokenPocket

Complete Mobile and Extension Wallet Guide

Arc is a Layer 1 blockchain network launched by Circle for use cases such as stablecoin payments, cross-border settlement, and on-chain finance. Network fees on Arc are paid in USDC. After creating an Arc wallet in TokenPocket, you can manage assets, send and receive funds, and connect to DApps that support Arc.

## Part 1: Create an Arc Wallet

TokenPocket is available as both a mobile app and a Chrome extension. Choose the option that best fits your usage habits.

### 1. Create an Arc Wallet on Mobile

### Step 1: Download and Open TokenPocket

Download and open the TokenPocket App. Tap the wallet icon in the upper-right corner of the home page to open the wallet and network selection page. Tap the search bar, enter “Arc,” and select the Arc network.

### Step 2: Tap “Create Wallet”

Tap “Create Wallet” and set a wallet name.<br>

* Android: If you have not configured the Master Password, you will also need to set a wallet password. We recommend using more than eight characters with a combination of letters, numbers, and symbols.

### Step 3: Back Up Your Recovery Phrase

Follow the on-screen instructions to back up your wallet recovery phrase. Write the phrase down accurately and keep it in a secure offline location that only you can access.

* Do not save the recovery phrase as a screenshot.
* Do not upload it to cloud storage, email, or messaging apps.
* Do not disclose your recovery phrase, private key, or wallet password to anyone.
* TokenPocket will never ask you to provide your recovery phrase or private key.

After completing the backup, tap “Verify Backup” and select the words in the correct order.

## Part 2: Import an Arc Wallet

If you already have a wallet compatible with Arc, you can import it using a recovery phrase, private key, or another method currently supported by TokenPocket.

### 1. Import an Arc Wallet on Mobile

### Step 1: Select Arc

Open the TokenPocket App, tap the wallet icon in the upper-right corner, search for “Arc,” and select the Arc network.

### Step 2: Choose an Import Method

Tap “Import Wallet” and select the appropriate import method. The following example uses a recovery phrase.

If the original wallet uses a PassPhrase, you must enter the same PassPhrase during import to restore the correct address. Different PassPhrases may generate different wallet addresses even when the recovery phrase is the same.

### Step 3: Complete the Import

Enter the recovery phrase, set a wallet name and password, and confirm. After importing, verify that the wallet address exactly matches the original address before transferring assets or connecting to a DApp.

## Part 3: Arc Wallet FAQ

### 1. What is Arc?

Arc is a Layer 1 blockchain network launched by Circle for stablecoin payments, cross-border settlement, foreign exchange, and on-chain finance. Network fees on Arc are paid in USDC.

### 2. Why Do I Need an Arc Wallet?

An Arc wallet provides you with an on-chain Arc address. You can use it to receive, manage, and transfer assets on Arc and connect to DApps that support the network.

### 3. What Do I Need Before Making an Arc Transaction?

Confirm that the recipient address and selected network are correct, and make sure your wallet contains sufficient USDC to cover the network fee. Do not send assets from another network directly to an Arc address unless the sending platform explicitly supports Arc.

### 4. What Should I Check When Importing a Wallet?

Use a secure and trusted device and network. Make sure the recovery phrase, private key, and PassPhrase are entered correctly. After importing, verify the wallet address before making any asset transfer.

### 5. Can I Recover My Wallet If I Forget the Password?

TokenPocket generally cannot recover your wallet password. If you have securely backed up the recovery phrase or private key, you can import the wallet again and set a new password. Without the recovery phrase or private key, the wallet usually cannot be restored.

### 6. How Can I Keep My Arc Wallet Secure?

Keep your recovery phrase and private key offline, avoid unknown links, and never share verification codes or recovery credentials. Before connecting to a DApp or signing a transaction, carefully verify the website domain, authorization details, and transaction information.
