# How to Create and Import Base Wallet on TokenPocket? (Step-by-Step Guide)

1. Open the TokenPocket app and click the top right corner to add a wallet; select the Base blockchain from the list.

1. <mark style="color:purple;">Android Version.</mark> Click \[Create Wallet], set a name and password (the password is only valid for the local device), then click \[Create Wallet].Please make sure to back up your keys using an offline method.

3. Back up the secret recovery phrase on the paper, and store it in a safe place. Click **\[Completed backup]**  and verify your secret recovery phrase.

4. At this point, you have successfully created a  **Base** wallet. You can store  **Base** assets, swap\&bridge, and discover the **Base** ecosystem on TokenPocket from now on!

2\. Click **【Import Wallet】**, select **\[Recovery Phrase]**

3. Enter your secret recovery phrase, set your wallet name, and click confirm. At this point, you have successfully imported a **Base** wallet.&#x20;

The [TokenPocket plugin wallet ](https://extension.tokenpocket.pro/)creates a multi-chain wallet by default, which includes the **Base** blockchain. Click the network selection in the top right corner and select **Base** to switch to the dedicated **Base** wallet.
