# Swap and Bridge Tutorial

About Transit Swap

Transit Swap is a one-stop DEX aggregator incubated by TokenPocket. It supports same-chain swaps and cross-chain swaps. Users can directly select tokens in TokenPocket and complete fast swaps, or use the [Limit Order](https://help.tokenpocket.pro/cn/wallet-operation/tool/limit-order-mode) feature to preset buying or selling prices for more precise trading.

This tutorial explains how to complete same-chain swaps and cross-chain operations through Transit Swap.

### Preparation Before Operation

Before using Transit Swap, please make sure that:

* Your wallet holds the tokens you want to swap or bridge.
* Your wallet has enough native tokens of the corresponding network to pay the Gas fee.

## 1. Same-Chain Swap Steps

### 1. Enter the Transit Swap Page

Open TokenPocket and tap **Swap** on the **Assets** page.

After entering the Transit page, make sure **Swap & Cross-Chain** mode is selected at the top.

### 2. Select the Tokens to Swap

Select the sending token and receiving token in order:

1. Tap the sending token, then select the corresponding network and the token you want to pay.
2. Tap the receiving token, then select the corresponding network and the token you want to receive.

You can also search by token name or contract address.

> **Tip**
>
> When searching by contract address, please verify the address through the project’s official channels to avoid selecting tokens with the same name or counterfeit tokens.

### 3. Enter the Amount and Confirm Settings

Enter the swap amount and check the following information:

* Estimated received amount
* Swap price
* Minimum received amount
* Slippage
* Price impact
* Service fee

If needed, you can tap the advanced settings button in the upper-right corner to adjust [slippage](https://help.tokenpocket.pro/cn/wallet-operation/how-to-trade-on-dex/slippage) and [MEV protection status](https://help.tokenpocket.pro/cn/security-knowledge/protective-measures/mev).

After confirming that all information is correct, tap **Confirm Swap**, then follow the page instructions to complete authorization and transaction confirmation.

>
> * Some tokens require authorization before the first swap.
> * Do not confirm authorization or swap without carefully checking the transaction information.
> * Swap prices may change with market fluctuations. Please refer to the information displayed when confirming the transaction.

## 2. Cross-Chain Operation Steps

### 1. Open Transit Swap

Open TokenPocket and tap **Swap** on the **Assets** page.

After entering Transit Swap, make sure **Swap & Cross-Chain** mode is selected at the top.

### 2. Select Token, Network, and Receiving Address

Configure the cross-chain information:

* Under **Send**, select the sending network and token.
* Under **Receive**, select the target network and token.

Enter or select the receiving address.

If you are transferring to the current wallet, you can directly use the default address. If you are transferring to another wallet, please enter the target address.

You can also search for tokens by token name or contract address.

>
> * Please verify the token contract address through official channels.
> * Please make sure the receiving address supports the selected target network.
> * Do not bridge assets to an exchange address.

After confirming that all information is correct, tap **Confirm Swap**, then follow the page instructions to complete authorization, if required, and sign to confirm the transaction.

### Notes

* Some tokens require authorization, also known as **Approve**, before the first cross-chain operation.
* Cross-chain arrival time may be affected by network congestion, routing, and the status of the cross-chain service provider.
* Before submitting the transaction, please make sure to confirm the receiving address, target network, and transaction information.
* Do not bridge assets to an exchange address.
* Once a cross-chain transaction is submitted on-chain, it cannot be canceled. Please refer to the final transaction information displayed on the confirmation page.
