Displaying token prices is a very important feature, and TokenPocket currently supports the display of mainstream token prices for each chain. At the same time, TokenPocket has been working with various parties to allow more token prices parsed and displayed. With the rapid development of the web3 ecosystem, new projects are constantly being created, and these tokens have not been supported by TokenPocket in time. This document will introduce how different types of parties submit price support applications to TokenPocket.
There are display differences between Tokens with price supported and ones unsupported. As shown in the figure below, for the Tokens with supported price display, you can clearly see the number of tokens and the total value of assets based on price. And for the tokens without price supported, you can only see the numbers.
There are three main sources of TokenPocket price analysis:
Coin Marketplace: coinmarketcap, CoinGecko, Live Coin Watch, etc.
Centralized exchanges: coinbase, Binance, Huobi, etc.
Decentralized exchanges: Uniswap, PancakeSwap, mdex and more
For project parties that are not supported by TokenPocket to display their token price, if they want TokenPocket to support their project or ecosystem token price display, they can submit an application to TokenPocket, and we will respond and support as soon as possible.
Depending on the types of Web3 project, the demands are also different. We roughly divide them into three categories.
If the project is focused on a specific Web3 direction, it should issue one or more tokens for its ecosystem. After the project party of this type submits an application for price display support, we will look for available price data support from the TokenPocket Token price data source.
If the project is a decentralized exchange, there are many trading pairs and their tokens on the exchange. In order to provide a better user experience, the project party of this type generally hopes that all token prices on the exchange can be analyzed by the wallet. They can submit an application to TokenPocket, and get the price display support through cooperation.
If the project is a chain, such project party generally hopes that the native token and the token for official decentralized exchange of the chain will be supported for price display, so as to promote their ecological development. They can submit an application for price display support, carry out in-depth cooperation with TokenPocket, and promote the chain's ecological token price to be supported.
